DAI Attends Virtual 2021 European Development Days

June 17, 2021

DAI is pleased to have been present at the European Development Days (EDD) on June 15-16. This year’s focus was the Green Deal for a Sustainable Future, and we hosted a virtual stand in the EDD Global Village to showcase our work with the European Union (EU) Delegation to Ethiopia and Ministry of Agriculture to mainstream climate-smart approaches in the Productive Safety Net Programme (Climate-Smart PSNP).

Our in-house and project specialists were present on the stand throughout the event, to showcase achievements and innovations emerging from the project.

DAI also hosted two digital side meetings:

  • On Wednesday, June 16, the Ethiopia Climate-Smart PSNP project team presented their work that contributes to building the climate resilience of beneficiaries and communities across 350 Ethiopian districts. Our Catherine Wallis, Climate and Natural Resources Lead, facilitated the panel of key project stakeholders including Teriessa Jalleta of the EU Delegation to Ethiopia: John Riley, CSM-PSNP Team Leader; and Abebe Ejigu, Climate-Smart PSNP GIS Non-Key Expert.
