We work with national and local governments to assist them in establishing the incentives and structures necessary for effective public administration and equitable civil service reform.

Oliver Mader leads DAI’s Governance practice with the European Union (EU) Business Unit. He has experience in good governance such as justice, rule of law, EU integration, international cooperation, public financial management, institutions building, policy reform, and sustainable development.
The Somalia People-Centered Governance Activity (PCG) supports local governance in southern Somalia, helping district councils to adopt inclusive decision-making models, more fairly manage resources, deliver results and services for citizens, and—in so doing—increase citizen trust in the councils.
