Tate Crowards is an Associate Analyst with the Sustainable Business Group (SBG) with a background in research synthesis and both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Tate is assisting with technical delivery of corporate social investment and local content projects globally, as well as supporting product development and new business efforts. In particular, she is assisting key new business endeavors for the Sustainable Business Group’s renewable energy and green financing efforts with focus areas in Canada and Latin America. Tate is managing the Sustainable Business Training product line for SBG, using her experience in local content policy and political economy of development to engage new clients.

Tate’s passion for international development has been fostered throughout a lifetime of living around the world, with much of her life having been spent in Bangladesh and Ghana. Prior to joining SBG, Tate was a Trade Policy Fellow at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation think tank, where she researched and conducted analysis on digital economy trade patterns and their policy implications.
