Abby Gross, a global health professional specializing in One Health and global health security, has extensive experience managing and implementing projects across Africa and Asia. As a Senior Health Security Specialist, Abby provides technical support across health and other multisectoral programs with a focus on applying a One Health framework to improve global health security and strengthen health systems.

Previously, Abby worked with Population Services International (PSI) where she managed in HIV, Hepatitis, and Global Health Security projects and provided technical support in One Health. Prior to her time at PSI, she was a member of the coordination team for the ACT Accelerator Diagnostics Pillar at FIND and worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control where she implemented cross-border COVID-19 mitigation measures as part of the U.S. Government’s COVID-19 response. Additionally, Abby brings experience in value chain research and evaluating livestock systems for zoonotic disease spillover risk.
