Scott has worked for over twenty years in international development, holding senior executive roles in the private and public sector. He established and led Cardno’s offices in Beijing and Jakarta. And he was the executive responsible for business development at Abt Associates during its rapid growth, helping it to become the largest DFAT contractor in the Australian market within three years. From 2018 to 2020, he ran Abt Associate’s London office.

Scott held a Director role in DFAT for three years and was responsible for program effectiveness and risk management across the $600m Indonesia portfolio. He also acted as Team Leader on the successful $250m Basic Education Program, the largest ever bilateral program between Australian and Indonesia.

From 2020, Scott worked in international M&A, investment banking, and project and blended finance for developing markets, with a focus on facilitating capital flows to contribute to the sustainable development goals.
