As part of the Sustainable Business Group, Dipika Chawla leads the communications strategy, designs technical service offerings, performs market intelligence on extractive industries in developing countries, and conducts new business efforts. She specializes in optimizing local content strategies and maximizing ROI of corporate social investment programs for private sector clients.

Before joining DAI, Dipika worked in the World Bank’s Trade and Competitiveness practice, researching public policy tools for fostering innovation in East Asia. She has also worked for the Rainforest Alliance, an NGO that works with agricultural, forestry, and tourism companies to promote sustainable livelihoods worldwide. She speaks French in addition to her native English and is working on Spanish in her spare time.
