The Climate Ambition Support Alliance Phase 2, (CASA2) provides legal, technical, strategic, diplomatic, and media support to negotiators of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), including at the yearly Conference of Parties (COPs) and intercessional meetings. CASA2 supports the most vulnerable groups of countries—the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) and the Least Developed Countries (LDCs)—to engage in and influence the outcomes of international climate negotiations.
Funded by the U.K. Government’s Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy, CASA2 supports negotiators as they push for progress on key milestones related to climate finance, loss and damage, and carbon markets.
