DAI is delighted to announce that it has maintained its CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating, following similar appraisals in 2019 and in 2022.
The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) framework, originally created for the U.S. Department of Defense to assess the quality and capability of its contractors, is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.
The CMMI Institute appraised DAI’s business development unit at CMMI Level 3 for Services. An organization appraised at Maturity Level 3 is performing at a level where processes are well characterized, clearly understood, and described in defined standards, procedures, tools, and methods.

“We’re extremely pleased to secure the Level 3 rating for another three years,” said DAI’s Jeremy Kanthor, who served as the internal champion for the appraisal. “This accomplishment speaks to our rigorous processes and company-wide commitment to continuous improvement in the services we can bring to our customers.”
The CMMI Institute “enables organizations to elevate and benchmark performance across a range of critical business capabilities, including product development, service excellence, workforce management, data management, supplier management, and cybersecurity.”
