DAI is delighted to announce that Susan Scribner has joined the firm as Vice President of Health Systems Solutions and Director of the Preparedness and Response project, a U.S. Agency for International Development program that facilitates pandemic preparedness across three regions and 16 countries.

Susan spent the past 17 years at Abt Associates, where she held critical technical and business leadership roles. At Abt, Susan served as Chief of Party on a project to build local capacity to respond to avian influenza in Vietnam and Laos, and on a health systems strengthening project in Uganda. She has also worked in Armenia, Jordan, parts of Asia, and across Africa in health policy and governance, health financing, and private health sector development.

Susan led Abt’s integration of its acquired Australian subsidiary, JTA, and played a significant role in developing corporate strategy and leading business development.

“We are excited to continue building our DAI Global Health team with a senior technical leader like Susan,” said Chris LeGrand, President of DAI Global Health. “With her combination of technical, management, and field expertise, we will be able to offer new solutions and approaches to the global health challenges of today and tomorrow.”
