Ron McMorran is a domestic resource mobilization, medium-term fiscal planning, and public financial management expert with diverse international experience. For more than 30 years, he has advised international organizations and governments on critical economic policy initiatives. He has served as an Executive with the Canadian Ministry of Finance, an economist with the Fiscal Affairs Department of the International Monetary Ffund, a consultant with the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, and an advisor to foreign governments under several projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Ron has led teams that applied innovative approaches to strengthening domestic resource mobilization, medium-term fiscal planning, and public financial management, contributed to the development of USAID fiduciary risk management policy, and trained USAID and counterpart professional staff in domestic resource mobilization policy and administration, medium-term fiscal analysis and planning, public financial management, and cost-benefit analysis.
