With 10 years of experience managing and delivering complex programs across Africa and the MENA region, Cari Wood is a multilingual senior manager skilled in steering large-scale projects funded by the private sector, the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, and the European Commission. Her experience spans private sector development, public diplomacy, and institutional development, with a portfolio ranging from £4 million to £19 million.

Previously, Cari provided day-to-day management and technical backstopping to the Palestine Market Development Programme, the Tax, Audit and Transparency Programme in Ethiopia, and was the Deputy Team Leader for TASHAROC, the good governance and stabilization project in Northern Morocco. Currently Head of Operations for the Centre for Disaster Protection (https://www.disasterprotection.org), Cari is passionate about contributing to deeper political economy analysis and leveraging enhanced, data-driven principles within institutions to deliver quality and effective projects.
