Sarah Maguire

Sarah Maguire

Sarah Maguire is the Director of the Governance team at DAI Europe. Sarah practiced at the Bar of England and Wales in criminal defence, immigration, asylum, and family law before joining the U.K. Department for International Development as Senior Human Rights Adviser. She has more than 20 years of experience at the country level, and international and policy experience with governments, NGOs and UN entities. Sarah has worked mainly across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, implementing, managing, and evaluating programmes in fragile and conflict-affected states.


Donald Lunan

Donald Lunan

Donald is the Regional Coordinator for the U.K. and Ireland LIFE Monitoring team, providing technical monitoring and evaluation support on biodiversity, conservation, and environmental technology. Donald is also Climate Change Coordinator for the Evidence on Demand service. Alongside these long-term assignments, Donald continues to provide short-term technical assistance to a range of donors in the fields of climate change and natural resource management in Africa and South Asia. His overseas experience includes work in Afghanistan, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Katja Silva-Leander

Katja is responsible for building DAI’s private sector development practice in the London office, focusing on European donors, international financial institutions, and private sector clients.


Ruth Sparrey

Managing Development Results | [email protected]

Ruth Sparrey

Ruth has 17 years of experience as a rural development consultant and as a project director on donor-funded projects in Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, South Sudan, Swaziland, and Thailand, for DFID, the European Commission, and the Capacity Building Trust Fund.
