DAI and local partner Fundacion Plenitud are developing a state-of-the art assessment of the vulnerability and potential impacts of climate change on the coastal systems of the Dominican Republic.
Using GIS technology and engagement from key stakeholders, coastal zones will be prioritized. Complementary adaptation measures and concept notes will be formulated that support or include objectives of sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism to support the strategy and investments of the Dominican State in the coastal tourism sector in the coming years.

This project is ensuring the resilience of inland waters and terrestrial ecosystems in Turkey with a specific focus on invasive alien species. It aims to get the species under control in targeted terrestrial areas and inland waters in line with European Union regulations.
