Krista Jones Baptista, Cynthia Canelas
Krista Jones Baptista, ICT Services Manager, has 11 years of experience in international development and information and communications technology (ICT)-related projects. In her current role, Ms. Jones Baptista is responsible for developing DAI’s ICT strategy and for identifying and managing the delivery of ICT solutions for projects and new business efforts. She also supports implementation of new media strategies for U.S. Agency for International Development projects. Previously, she managed DAI’s corporate knowledge management services and worked in new business acquisition and marketing. She began her career in management consulting delivering business process and organizational assessment services for the Hay Group. Ms. Jones Baptista holds an M.A. in international development and economics from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in geography from Clark University. Cynthia Canelas, ICT Services Senior Analyst, has nine years of experience designing and developing websites and maintaining computer networks. Her work has included programming, collaborating with software engineers, providing customer service on ICT-related issues, and developing and implementing ICT policies and procedures. Currently, she provides project management and support for specific information systems and services, supports new business and proposal efforts related to ICT services, and engages internal stakeholders in designing ICT solutions that meet the needs of DAI’s projects. Ms. Canelas joined DAI in November 2001. She holds an M.B.A/ M.S in marketing from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, a B.S. in computer science, and a B.A in fine arts from Albright College.
